Story Antics releases first two titles in six-part recipe storybook series
Following on from the success of Banana Muffins, Story Antics has released the first two titles in its six-part personalised recipe storybook series, aimed to captivate two to 10 year olds who enjoy creating, cooking and baking in the kitchen with parents and caregivers.
Raspberry Breakfast Balls and Cheesy Quinoa Crackers, both written by Amy Whiteford, the voice behind Healthy Little Foodies, and illustrated by emerging artist and graphic designer, Britney Fong (also known as kinnju), offer an engaging, educational and immersive experience that combines the benefits of reading with experiential learning, through sensory activity and play.
With recent industry research indicating that kindergarten to year 12 students who average a daily reading time of less than 15 minutes are only exposed to an average of 1.5 million words compared to the 5.7 million words for those children who read for 15-29 minutes, the vital aspects of regular comprehensive reading is again in the spotlight.
In addition to Raspberry Breakfast Balls and Cheesy Quinoa Crackers, Story Antics will roll out four other titles in the coming months: Sweet Potato Brownies, Banana Ice Cream, Rainbow Fritters and Zucchini Muffins.
Raspberry Muffins and Cheesy Quinoa Crackers can each be personalised and purchased individually for $24.99* or coupled in a pack for $44.95.
There is also a gift pack option which includes a Story Antics apron; a single book gift pack is priced at $39.99, while a gift pack featuring both books and an apron is $69.99.
Shipping is free within Australia and to New Zealand and is available worldwide at standard postage costs.
