In a world where you can be anything, be kind

This week has been a particularly tough one for us Victorian folk - back in hard lockdown until mid August, being encouraged to wear masks in public and feeling like it was one step forward and 10 steps back in the fight against COVID-19.

To compound the already established feelings of frustration and disappointment, there has been a lot of vitriol and angered words flung back and forth within our local and national community, only creating further tension and division.

As Aristotle once wrote, "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts," and this aptly defines the modern concept of synergy.

The truth of the matter is, as long as this current health and economic crisis affects anyone, it affects EVERYONE.

As we continue to navigate through these uncertain times, we need to show one another kindness, listen to the medical experts and follow the rules so we don't have to keep coming back to this - in Victoria or any other part of Australia/the world.
